Yvonne was born on December 14, 1972, in Dayton, Ohio. She was baptized at Wayman AME Church in Dayton. She started her grade school education at Blairwood Elementary in Jefferson Township, Ohio and completed it at Van Hoosen Middle School in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Yvonne graduated from Portage Central High School in Portage, Michigan in 1991. She received her Associate Degree from Oakland Community College in Farmington Hills, Michigan in 2013. Yvonne had a love and talent for music, acting, and dancing. She worked in the service industry and enjoyed interfacing with the customers. Yvonne was the loving daughter of Steven and Donna Pettiford and the loving twin sister of Yvette Pettiford. Yvonne also leaves to cherish her memory her loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will take place Friday, July 6, 2018 , starting at 3 PM at Haley Funeral Directors, 24525 Northwestern Highway, Southfield, Michigan . In lieu of flowers, a contribution to Lucky Paws can be made at 50473 Edith Street, Chesterfield Township, Michigan 48047 .
