Sui Lun Choi passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2017. At 90 years of age, he lived a very happy and full life with his family. He originally immigrated from China and resided in Southfield, Michigan. He later moved to West Bloomfield, Michigan in 2002. He is best remembered by his strong will and independence.

He is survived by the following family members: son, Patrick Choi; daughter Soo Lin Choi; grandchildren, Hailey Choi, Beverly Choi, Tiffany Choi, Daniel Choi, and Kaeo Helder; as well as his great grandchildren Ethan Lau, Riley Lau, and Nora Findly.

His resilient spirit, determination, and smiling face will be missed. May he rest in peace. Sui Lun Choi was preceded in death by his wife, Shui Fung Choi and sister Wei Choi.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Haley Funeral Directors, 24525 Northwestern Highway, Southfield, MI 48075 (248-356-4800 ).
