Celebrating The Life of

Manuel Lasalle Brown III

Manuel LaSelle Brown III was born on June 10th, 1986 in Detroit Michigan to Manuel LaSelle Brown Jr. and Valinda Brown. He is the youngest of two other siblings, Ki Brown and DeAndra Diane Brown.  Manuel III, attended and graduated with honors from Detroit Urban Lutheran High School. Afterwards continuing his education to receive his associates degree from Oakland Community College.

While attending college, he developed a severe cancer that consumed his body for 7 years.  Many times, the doctors would inform the family it was just a matter of time and to prepare for his demise. But, Manuel would defy their analysis.  With the help of God, bounce back.  God's hand superseded the doctor's expectation with such amazingness that the medical community wanted his condition in the medical journals.  They had never seen a person with that form of Cancer come back with such determination.

Because he had plans to live life to the fullest and embrace love, Manuel united in holy matrimony to Chanquell Brown in 2019.  Shortly after they married, his health began to fail.  He kept fighting until he couldn't fight any longer.  After years of pain and suffering, he wanted to hear his Mom and Dad scream out "I Love You". After doing that his mother saw  his eye blink and a tear fall down his face; and he took the hand of God. They heard him say "I'm Free Now" don't cry for me, "I'm Free".

Surrounded by all his family, he heard them say "I Love You. Then, witnessed Manuel shed one last tear and take his last breath on Thursday November 16th, 2023.
