Irene of Southfield passed away on January 25, 2019 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Hermann, and loving mother of Heidi, Harold and Cindy. Sister of Helga, Maritta and Rudi, and predeceased by her youngest brother Waldemar. She was a long time member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church (formally St. Gerard) in Detroit, MI, and Carpathia German Club in Sterling Heights, MI. Irene took pride in her garden, with an abundance of vegetables and beautiful flowers every summer. She loved playing cards, going on casino trips and spending time with friends and family.
