Efrem McBride was born and raised by his parents in Detroit, Michigan, where he attended the public schools' system and later completed specialized training in computer technology and banking operations. He then went on to honorably serve two tours in the US Army between the late '70's and mid 80's.

After his military service, he built a respected career as a Debt Collections Specialist for nearly 20+ years, working with several law firms and agencies. Efrem is preceded in death by his father and older brother. In August of this year, he quietly slipped away leaving to cherish his memory several relatives, friends and loved ones. Efrem will be remembered for his sense of humor, strength, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to family and country.
