Alfred Lee Barrow was born on 12-23-1935 to the late Albert and Cora Barrow from that union were ten children of which seven proceeds him in death. He moved to Detroit, MI at the age of sixteen years old. Where he met the love of his life Artha Dell Harvey. They married and from that union are eight children. Alfred worked at Artistic Furniture for seven years then went on to work at General Motors where he retired. Alfred was not a church goer but he definitely believed in the Lord and would tell you "I say my prayers every night." Alfred leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters Arnette Ford, Sherita Barrow, Keela Barrow and one daughter Empress Ashburn (who proceeds him in death), three sons Dana Barrow, Ennis Barrow and John Barrow three sister Julia Lewis, Lola Porch and Mattie Barrow. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, cousins, family and friends.
