H
aley Funeral Directors, was founded in Detroit in 1897 and moved to its present location in Southfield in the early 1960's
Edward Haley, former owner and funeral director, sold his business to Bruce Calder in 1989. Mr. Calder owned the funeral home until he sold it to Keystone Corporation in 1997. Mr. Calder continued to manage the business for Keystone until May 2003.
With the purchase of Haley Funeral Directors in May 2003, Stephen Kemp and Eric O'Leary, have been reaching out to the residents and churches in the surrounding communities to let them know we are a FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED funeral home serving the diverse needs of individuals at a difficult time in their lives. We are a community oriented business and proudly serve ALL nationalities and faiths in their times of need.
Eric O'Leary left Haley Funeral Directors in the fall of 2009 to pursue other interests in his home-state of Iowa where he will continue his ministry in the funeral profession. He will continue to provide excellent care and compassion to the families he'll serve there. We will truly miss Eric, and all of the hard work and dedication he brought to Haley Funeral Directors, and wish him the best.
At Haley Funeral Directors we are dedicated to detail, and are attentive to each and every families individual needs. We will strive to exceed your expectations from the moment you place your loved one in our care to the final dispostion. Our professionally trained funeral staff are available to serve you and your family before, during and after the funeral service.
